Terms of use

These terms cover the Venom Board service at venomboard.com: accounts, teams, shared projects, view-only links and public roadmaps. The Venom Board app itself is open source under the MIT licence, and that licence covers the software. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Your account

  • You need to be at least 13 to use the service.
  • Give a real email address, keep your password safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
  • You're responsible for what happens in your account and in the teams you lead.

Your content

  • What you put on your boards is yours.
  • So that we can run the service, you let us store, copy and show your content to the people you share it with, and to anyone, when you publish a view-only link or a public roadmap.
  • You confirm you have the right to share what you upload.

What's not allowed

Don't use Venom Board to:

  • share anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's rights
  • harass, threaten or spam anyone, or impersonate someone
  • spread malware or phishing
  • break, overload, probe or get around the service's limits and security, or access accounts and projects that aren't yours
  • publish view-only links or roadmaps as advertising or spam

Public pages

View-only links and public roadmaps can be seen by anyone who has the link, and public roadmaps by anyone at all. Think before you publish. Anyone can report a page, and we may take down pages that break these terms or the law, with or without notice.

Fair use

Accounts and teams have allowances (teams, projects, members, board size and storage) so the service stays fast and fair for everyone. They're shown in the app. Please don't try to get around them, for example with extra accounts.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or delete accounts or content that break these terms, and we'll try to tell you why when we can.

The service is provided as it is

Venom Board is free. We work hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copies of anything important (you can save any board as a file). As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under the law of England and Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll say so on this page and, for big changes, by email. Using the service after a change means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
